Moose Lodge on Cranberry Lake is what the U.P. is all about! A beautiful Log, Luxury Home on a private, inland lake, just 25 miles south east of Munising/Pictured Rocks area. If you are looking for a private, place for your family and friends to enjoy on vacation, no one will bother you here! 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, approximately 1600 square feet, the beauty of Moose Lodge will surely bring you back again. The full kitchen has stainless steel appliances (including a gas range) and a log dining table. The wood burning fireplace is a focal point, adorned with beautiful stone. On the main floor you will find the master bedroom with a queen size log bed, walk-in closet, dresser and flat screen TV; the bunk room with a set of twin log bunks, dresser and a full length log style mirror. The bunk room is perfect for the kids or two singles. There is a full bathroom and laundry on the main floor as well. Sliding glass doors look out at beautiful Cranberry Lake. The loft has a spacious sitting area with a log style couch and 2 very large bean bag chairs. So comfy and inviting, it's perfect for reading or a little snooze. You will find the third bedroom on the loft floor as well with a double size bed and dresser. Another full bathroom on the loft floor as well. Moose Lodge on Cranberry Lake is beautifully decorated with a Moose theme and accents. Dried weeds beautifully displayed in a rustic vase is just a sample of the appeal in this home. The cabin sleeps 6 in beds and you can add 2 additional guests if you like, you can bring along an air mattress OR we have two couches you can use. Be sure to enter the correct number of guests when booking. The garage is a nice amenity for parking or working on your sleds in the winter. We have plenty of parking for large snowmobile trailers, so no worries there! The lake and area is rustic and peaceful. What a beautiful drive through the woods!

Summary: The cabin was beautiful as pictured. Great location to explore the Pictured Rocks area. After a day of kayaking and hiking it was awesome to come home to such a beautiful spot. Sitting on the dock at night was amazing. The stars were phenomenal. The home owner checked in a couple times but was not needed. Everything was in order. If I have any suggestions - it’s probably time to upgrade the mattresses

Summary: We wanted to experience the log cabin getaway and decided on this central U.P. location. I'm glad we did, the host provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay and sent a PDF with very detailed information including directions to find this remote cabin on cranberry lake. Our family of 4 had plenty of room and privacy for the girls. Very happy with the host and our stay.

Summary: Loved the location, ambiance is great log cabin feel, very remote and pretty. Only issue was says sleeps eight and really only sleeps 6 comfortably but seven with a cot. Definitely need an air mattress for eight. Beautiful property! Great people to deal with. Loved our stay!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful cabin in woods! The cabin had everything we needed and the little lake and canoe made it extra special. We had great wi-fi and the layout was perfect for two adults and three teenagers…space for everyone!

Summary: We had a small family gathering at this clean and comfortable cabin. We were constantly on the dock, fishing and watching wildlife. Beautiful location on a very private, quiet, and rural neighborhood. We canoed to see the beaver huts, grilled fresh fish, and played games into the night. The cabin is tucked away, but a short drive to town. Don't forget to do a boat tour in Munising or go swimming at nearby Pete's Lake. A great place to stay and experience Michigan's upper peninsula in all it's glory!

Summary: Property was easy to locate, short distance from Munising, and clean. Vacationed with my wife and 2 children ages 12 and 14. Cabin was much more spacious then I thought it would be. Everything was clean and in order. The host, Lisa, had a folder with info about the cabin and surrounding attractions and left us a great welcome basket with local jams, chocolates, and fresh bread. My son and I enjoyed the available canoe and fishing for perch and sunfish in Lake Cranberry. It was a great home base for all that the area has to offer.
